Abstract: | Moraine is made up of glaciotectonically thrusted and folded sequences of marine sand and mud, predominantly deposited on relatively steep shoreface, interbedded with diamictons generated from land-based glaciers and floating ice streams. In marine sequences, deposition from wave action and tidal currents dominate over deltaic processes. Three ice advances can be identified. |
