Record #112013:

Glacial deposits on the interior plateaux of Jameson Land, East Greenland / Christian Hjort, Per Möller.

Title: Glacial deposits on the interior plateaux of Jameson Land, East Greenland / Christian Hjort, Per Möller.
Author(s): Hjort, Christian.
Möller, Per.
Date: 1991.
Publisher: Lund: Lund University, Department of Quaternary Geology
In: Last interglacial-glacial cycle : preliminary report on the PONAM fieldwork in Jameson Land and Scoresby Sund, East Greenland. Proceedings of the Ponam Workshop in Skanör, Sweden 23-26.4.1991. (1991.),
Abstract: Studies of Jameson Land Drift in 1990 confirmed that interior of land was once totally covered by extension of inland ice, moving west to east and bringing profusion of western rock material, making up 75% or more of boulder and cobble fractions in drift-covered areas. Probably pre-Weichselian. Some time after, central Jameson Land was glaciated again, perhaps during separate episodes. Many kames and eskers.
