| Abstract: | Three main stages in palaeoclimatic evolution of Barents Sea and continental slope: before 13-12 ka BP, temperature was low and salinity of upper water masses was reduced by glacial meltwater; after 12 ka BP, salinity reduction was smaller; and at 10 ka BP, oceanic palaeoclimatic conditions similar to present were established. |
