Record #111810:

The ductile-brittle transition in ice & size effect / E.M. Schulson, J. Zhang.

Title: The ductile-brittle transition in ice & size effect / E.M. Schulson, J. Zhang.
Author(s): Schulson, E. M.
Zhang, J.
Date: 1991.
Publisher: New York: American Society of Civil Engineers
In: Cold Regions Engineering. Proceedings of the Sixth International Specialty Conference ... the Sheraton North Country Inn, West Lebanon, NH, February 26-28, 1991. (1991.),
Abstract: Presents analyses for this transition in ice under compressive loading. Shows that transition strain-rate decreases with increasing size of feature and microstructural scale of ice, and with decreasing creep rate, fracture toughness and friction coefficient.
Notes:

In: Cold Regions Engineering. Proceedings of the Sixth International Specialty Conference ... the Sheraton North Country Inn, West Lebanon, NH, February 26-28, 1991 / Devinder S. Sodhi, ed.
