Record #111774:

Soil-pipe interaction during frost heaving around a buried chilled pipeline / Mu Shen, Branko Ladanyi.

Title: Soil-pipe interaction during frost heaving around a buried chilled pipeline / Mu Shen, Branko Ladanyi.
Author(s): Shen, Mu.
Ladanyi, Branko.
Date: 1991.
Publisher: New York: American Society of Civil Engineers
In: Cold Regions Engineering. Proceedings of the Sixth International Specialty Conference ... the Sheraton North Country Inn, West Lebanon, NH, February 26-28, 1991. (1991.),
Abstract: Attempts to simulate numerically Canada-France pipeline ground-freezing experiment. Results agree well with experimental measurements. Because of lack of exact information about confining conditions of pipe longitudinally, it was decided to solve two extreme cases, i.e. free-floating pipe and rigidly fixed pipe. True conditions will be located between these.
