Abstract: | Recent studies, which point to theories of biological adaptation, have emphasized need for comprehensive physical anthropological investigation of Norse skeletal material, especially along lines of palaeodemography. Material, comprising remains of c. 350 individuals, is currently stored at University of Copenhagen and has been incorporated into computer database linking anthropological and archaeological data. |
