| Abstract: | Productive fossil site found in 1986: only known site of this age from within Yukon that was covered by Cordilleran ice sheet during McConnell glaciation. Bone-bearing sediments are complex of colluvium, fan, and outwash sediments. Similar fossil sites are likely to occur where glaciofluvial water courses abut hillside deposits laid down before onset of McConnell glaciation. |
