Abstract: Popular account of Scott's 1910-13 Terra Nova Antarctic expedition written as if telling Captain Scott's son about his last expedition and death. Following plea by J.M. Barrie, godfather to Scott's son, Peter, Daily Chronicle launched fund to make "provision for the future of Peter Scott and other relatives and dependents of Captain Scott and his heroic comrades". This anonymous volume, written in sentimental style, aimed to promote fund.
