Abstract: | Only one intrusion (Kukkola) has been encountered in Sweden so far; number of intrusions and intrusion fragments exceeds 20 in Finland, concentrated principally in two areas: in discontinuous belt at latitude of northern end of Gulf of Bothnia and in central Finnish Lapland. In USSR they occur on Kola Peninsula (Kol'skiy Poluostrov), in Paanajärvi area and on north-eastern side of Lake Onega (Onezhskoye Ozero). Examples of all characteristic ore types have been found. Two types of parental magma have tentatively been proposed. |
