| Abstract: | Report on continued fieldwork in Hornsund region (west coast of Spitsbergen), as part of project "Russian hunting stations on Svalbard". Two stations were explored, at Gnålodden and Worcesterpynten: single hut was excavated at each. Ruins of hut A at Schønningholmane were also partly excavated (the two other huts were excavated in 1987). Underwater survey in Hornsund fjord, along west coast of Edgeøya, and in lake near Habenichtbukta site produced little result. The three islands comprising Dunøyane were surveyed. |
