Record #110535:

Scene identification and its effect on cloud radiative forcing in the Arctic / Zhanqing Li, Henry G. Leighton.

Title: Scene identification and its effect on cloud radiative forcing in the Arctic / Zhanqing Li, Henry G. Leighton.
Author(s): Li, Zhanqing.
Leighton, Henry G.
Date: 1991.
In: Journal of Geophysical Research. (1991.), Vol. 96(D5) (1991)
Abstract: Difficulty in distinguishing between clouds and ice- or snow-covered surfaces. Scene identification can be improved by using multispectral narrow-band radiances. Comparisons made between scenes identified by Earth Radiation Budget Experiment algorithm and those deduced from AVHRR radiances in Arctic for 4 days in July 1985. Differ significantly in geotype and in cloud cover.
