| Abstract: | Aim was to examine variability of deuterium excess in surface snow and to use this to: provide more precise tuning of model of Jouzel and Merlivat (1984) for isotopic composition of snow, determine what limit deuterium excess values place on source of moisture for coastal and interior regions, and use model to determine how changes in condition of evaporation over ocean affect deuterium excess values of snow in Antarctica. |
