Record #110298:

Orbital forcing of low-frequency glacioeustasy / R.K. Matthews, Cliff Frohlich.

Title: Orbital forcing of low-frequency glacioeustasy / R.K. Matthews, Cliff Frohlich.
Author(s): Matthews, R. K.
Frohlich, Cliff.
Date: 1991.
In: Journal of Geophysical Research. (1991.), Vol. 96(B4) (1991)
Abstract: Proposes geologic mechanism and realistic quantitative construction to explain how Antarctic ice volume varies as function of orbital forcing during Tertiary. Demonstrates that mechanism can produce major glacioeustatic events with quasi-periodicities of order of 2 Ma. Mechanism may be missing link which brings sequence stratigraphy and orbital forcing together.
