Record #110269:

Energy balance of the KOSI 4 experiment / E. Grün, Johannes Benkhoff, R. Heidrich, P. Hesselbarth, H. Kohl, E. Kührt.

Title: Energy balance of the KOSI 4 experiment / E. Grün, Johannes Benkhoff, R. Heidrich, P. Hesselbarth, H. Kohl, E. Kührt.
Author(s): Grün, E.
Benkhoff, Johannes.
Heidrich, R.
Hesselbarth, P.
Kohl, H.
Kührt, E.
Date: 1991.
In: Geophysical Research Letters. (1991.), Vol. 18(2) (1991)
Abstract: Presents detailed energy analysis of ice-dust sample under interplanetary spece conditions, based on measurements obtained during comet simulation (KOSI) experiment. Results show that visible and thermal reradiation from sample surface, sublimation energy of ices and increase of internal heat are most important contributions to energy balance.
