Record #110222:

Styles of Anglian ice-marginal channel sedimentation: as revealed by a conductivity meter and extendable augers / Stephen John Mathers, Jan Antoni Zalasiewicz, Gary Paul Wealthall.

Title: Styles of Anglian ice-marginal channel sedimentation: as revealed by a conductivity meter and extendable augers / Stephen John Mathers, Jan Antoni Zalasiewicz, Gary Paul Wealthall.
Author(s): Mathers, Stephen John.
Zalasiewicz, Jan Antoni.
Wealthall, Gary Paul.
Date: 1991.
Publisher: Rotterdam, Brookfield: A.A. Balkema
In: Glacial deposits in Great Britain and Ireland. (1991.),
Abstract: Demonstrates effectiveness of using combination of these techniques to investigate glacial terrain by applying them to small-scale channel systems on coast of Suffolk, which represent part of Anglian ice-marginal drainage network. Models are constructed describing evolution of channel systems and different types of infill can be related to channel position with reference to maximum extent of Anglian ice. Text references to other publications at end of volume.
