| Abstract: | Describes some glaciomarine sequences which may represent depositional conditions recorded elsewhere in Britain. Data is so far limited to western (Irish) and central (Isle of Man) portions of basin, but has ramifications for British Quaternary studies extending beyond basin, primarily as evidence of crustal depression around British-Scandinavian ice sheet and marine submergence.
