| Abstract: | Table shows summary of main Quaternary events in region. Evidence for pre-Devensian glaciations is reviewed. During Devensian, northeast Scotland was glaciated by three separate ice streams, which laid down distinctive series of deposits. These are described, also their stratigraphical sequence and timing.
