Record #110196:

The Loch Lomond Stadial glaciation in Britain and Ireland / J. Murray Gray, Peter Coxon.

Title: The Loch Lomond Stadial glaciation in Britain and Ireland / J. Murray Gray, Peter Coxon.
Author(s): Gray, J. Murray.
Coxon, Peter.
Date: 1991.
Publisher: Rotterdam, Brookfield: A.A. Balkema
In: Glacial deposits in Great Britain and Ireland. (1991.),
Abstract: Reviews geomorphological evidence used to reconstruct Loch Lomond glacial limits and mentions other features related to glaciation (such as periglacial features and drumlins). Includes review of origin of deposits, dating, and distribution of glaciers. In Ireland, stadial is termed Nahanagan Stadial, based on cirque lake of that name; other cirque lakes of this age are described. Some palaeoclimatic inferences are drawn from these reconstructions. Text references to other publications at end of volume.
