Record #110193:

Late Devensian glacial deposits and glaciations in eastern England and the adjoining offshore region / John A. Catt.

Title: Late Devensian glacial deposits and glaciations in eastern England and the adjoining offshore region / John A. Catt.
Author(s): Catt, John A.
Date: 1991.
Publisher: Rotterdam, Brookfield: A.A. Balkema
In: Glacial deposits in Great Britain and Ireland. (1991.),
Abstract: Tills, glaciofluvial and glaciolacustrine deposits cover much of area between Scottish border and north Norfolk coast, as well as large areas of adjacent North Sea floor, due to major glaciation that occurred during Late Devensian time known as Dimlington Stadial; this must be assumed to be only glaciation of eastern England during Dimlington. Discusses evidence for ice movements on land at this time and distribution of surface and offshore deposits. Text references to other publications at end of volume.
