Record #110188:

Anglian glacial deposits in Britain and the adjoining offshore regions / Jürgen Ehlers, Philip L. Gibbard.

Title: Anglian glacial deposits in Britain and the adjoining offshore regions / Jürgen Ehlers, Philip L. Gibbard.
Author(s): Ehlers, Jürgen.
Gibbard, Philip L.
Date: 1991.
Publisher: Rotterdam, Brookfield: A.A. Balkema
In: Glacial deposits in Great Britain and Ireland. (1991.),
Abstract: Anglian Stage deposits were mostly overridden by younger glaciations, so are best preserved beyond margins of these later ice advances, in eastern England and adjacent offshore region. These areas are discussed and, also, implications of recent suggestions that glacial deposits in Midlands, that were previously assigned to younger Wolstonian Stage, may also be equivalent to Anglian. Text references to other publications at end of volume.
