Record #110093:

NO₂ overnight decay and layer height at Halley Bay, Antarctica / J.G. Keys, Brian G. Gardiner.

Title: NO₂ overnight decay and layer height at Halley Bay, Antarctica / J.G. Keys, Brian G. Gardiner.
Author(s): Keys, J. G.
Gardiner, Brian G.
Date: 1991.
In: Geophysical Research Letters. (1991.), Vol. 18(4) (1991)
Abstract: Ground-based measurements of stratospheric slant column nitrogen dioxide amounts made in 1987 compared with ozone and temperature profiles from balloon-borne sondes. Sunrise to sunset ratios of NO₂ calculated for autumn and spring; slow recovery of NO₂ column in spring compared with rate of decline in autumn indicates slow photolysis of depleted levels of N₂O₅ inside polar vortex.
