| Abstract: | Top and bottom features studied in May 1987 using near-simultaneous observations by passive and active microwave sensors, upward-looking and sidescan sonars, lidar profilometer, and infrared sensor. Data from aircraft and submarine over 100 km track of central Arctic sea ice were registered and analyzed to evaluate characteristics of ice and use of each sensor in these studies. Discusses results of comparative and correlation analyses. |
