A multi-million dollar gold deposit in Greenland? / Knud Sinding, Graham Poole.
Title: | A multi-million dollar gold deposit in Greenland? / Knud Sinding, Graham Poole. |
Author(s): | Sinding, Knud. Poole, Graham. |
Date: | 1991. |
In: | Polar Record. (1991.), Vol. 27(161) (1991) |
Abstract: | Platinova Resources Ltd of Toronto estimate reserves of 69 million tonnes in Skaergård intrusion at cut-off grade of 1 g/t gold. Estimates for total reserves may be increased by up to 60% when additional areas are drilled. Kap Edvard Holm discovery was based on one hole drilled. Value of DK700 billion reported in Danish press may have been based on using total area of Kap Holm intrusion (300 km²) to calculate total mineralized volume. |
