Abstract: | Larter criticises conclusions of paper by the GRAPE Team (Antarctic Science, vol.2, no.3, p.223, 1990) which described the South Shetland Trench as a "recently de-activated trench", holding instead that all available evidence suggests an active subduction zone. Henriet, Bialas and Meissner reply on behalf of the GRAPE Team. |
