Abstract: Suggests that Convention on the Regulation of Antarctic Mineral Resource Activities (CRAMRA) fits in well with other environmental regimes of the Antarctic Treaty System and provides a solid basis for preventing minerals development. Enumerates components of CRAMRA which could be used as model for evolution of other legal regimes governing Antarctic activities.
