Abstract: Concurrent backscatter and ozone measurements made with near-simultaneous frost point soundings over South Pole when centre of 1990 winter vortex was at or very near that location during July and August. No compelling evidence found supporting earlier claims that PSC layers are anti-correlated with ozone inside vortex.
