Abstract: Presents findings intended to provide more complete characterization of sub-Arctic and Arctic cellular slime mould communities. Samples collected from nine study sites. Only two species isolated (Dictyostelium mucoroides and Dictyostelium sphaerocephalum), but total number of clones/g wet soil averaged greater than 100 for all samples and greater than 200 at three of four Arctic tundra sites.
