Title: | Glacigenic sediments / Krzysztof Brodzikowski, Tom van Loon. |
Author(s): | Brodzikowski, Krzysztof. Loon, Tom van. |
Date: | 1991. |
Publisher: | Amsterdam: Elsevier |
Abstract: | Aims at providing overview for those involved in fundamental or applied research (e.g. geology, hydrology, agriculture, water supply, engineering, mining) into effects of glaciation. Generally applicable terminology is proposed which should facilitate communication between scientists from several fields. Describes sediments involved, their genesis, extent, and mutual relationships. Based on research carried out by authors in Poland, Netherlands and Canada, 1979-90, although much work by others is cited. Extensive bibliography, p. 561-667. |
