Record #109717:

Late Quaternary fluvial sedimentation in the Voidomatis basin, Epirus, northwest Greece / John Lewin, Mark G. Macklin, Jamie C. Woodward.

Title: Late Quaternary fluvial sedimentation in the Voidomatis basin, Epirus, northwest Greece / John Lewin, Mark G. Macklin, Jamie C. Woodward.
Author(s): Lewin, John.
Macklin, Mark G.
Woodward, Jamie C.
Date: 1991.
In: Quaternary Research. (1991.), Vol. 35(1) (1991)
Abstract: Possible to establish sequence, depositional environments, and ages of Quaternary alluvial, colluvial, and glacial units in basin. Major periods of alluviation during Late Quaternary were associated with valley glaciation (26 to 20 ka BP) and subsequent deglaciation (20 to 15 ka BP) in Pindus mountains during Late Würmian (and more recently to overgrazing)
