Abstract: Study of 240 Soviet transit workers flying regularly to work from Ukraine to West Siberia. Describes methods and materials used. Results showed decreased power worker capacity, disturbed diurnal rhythm and increased emotional tension related to increase in transit work. Emphasises significance of seasonal factors in stress level.
