Effects of global climate change on snow fluctuation in China over the past 40 years / Peiji Li.

Title: Effects of global climate change on snow fluctuation in China over the past 40 years / Peiji Li.
Author(s): Li, Peiji.
Date: [1991]
Publisher: Geneva: World Meteorological Organization
In: Proceedings of the International Conference on Climatic Impacts on the Environment and Society (CIES), University of Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan, January 27--February 1, 1991. ([1991]),
Abstract: Daily snow data for 2300 climate stations from early 1950s to 1980 and SMMR data for 1978 to 1987 have been analyzed to investigate secular variations, year-to-year fluctuations, and spatial characteristics of trend in snow fluctuations in China. Strong teleconnection with ENSO and with major volcanic eruptions, as well as with global warming.
