| Abstract: | Test site in Tirol, Austria, was surveyed by three-frequency (P-, L-, C-band) polarimetric AIRSAR on board NASA DC-8 in August 1989 and by experimental airborne E-SAR operating in X- and C-band, HH polarizations, in July 1990. These data are basis for investigations on use of multiparameter SAR in glacier studies, snow hydrology, and geology, and on methods for SAR data analysis and thematic mapping in high terrain. |
