| Abstract: | Lassinantti came to Icelandic notice in 1973 talk by "Sweden's most entertaining speaker" to twinning conference. He later helped set up summer courses in Swedish for Icelanders. These liaised with course for Finns, where Swedish was only medium. Later came course for North Calotters, at first just Swedes, in Iceland. Second part is about Lassinantti as storyteller and local historian, deeply rooted in Tornedal. |
