| Abstract: | Presents few projects which can be taken up during forthcoming area expeditions, since establishment of permanent laboratory enables continuous year-round data from station. Projects include; measurement of radioactivity due to radon, thoron and their daughters, analysis of air samples in area for trace pollutants, collection of rock and soil samples for estimation of rare earths` concentrations, and on-line continuous measurements of carbon monoxide and sulphur-dioxide to determine long range transport of industrial pollutants. |
