Abstract: Studies area's climate in terms of relevance to aviation hazards with establishment of permanent station and presumably future establishment of permanent air strip for aircraft operations. Presents monthly frequencies of weather phenomena, especially visibility due to fog and drifting snow, low clouds and Cb clouds, and presents data in tabular and graphical form. Also presents means of surface pressure and temperature at various synoptic hours and their standard deviation.
