Transport and recycling of radio caesium in the alimentary tract of reindeer / Hans Staaland, Knut Hove, Øyvind Pedersen.

Title: Transport and recycling of radio caesium in the alimentary tract of reindeer / Hans Staaland, Knut Hove, Øyvind Pedersen.
Author(s): Staaland, Hans.
Hove, Knut.
Pedersen, Øyvind.
Date: 1990.
In: Rangifer. (1990.), (1990)
Abstract: Transport of radio caesium between body pools and alimentary tract was studied in seven reindeer calves, comparing animals treated with Cs-binder and untreated animals. Article describes method used and gives results on activity concentration of Cs nucleides from duodenum to distal colon and that of Na and K. Conclusion on binding of both endogenous Cs and feed Cs follows.
