Record #108219:

High-performance, inexpensive polarimetric radar for in situ measurements / Sivaprasad Gogineni, Frederick A. Hoover, Jonathan W. Bredow.

Title: High-performance, inexpensive polarimetric radar for in situ measurements / Sivaprasad Gogineni, Frederick A. Hoover, Jonathan W. Bredow.
Author(s): Gogineni, Sivaprasad.
Hoover, Frederick A.
Bredow, Jonathan W.
Date: 1990.
Abstract: System collects polarimetric data at 5.9 and 11 GHz over incidence angles from 0 to 60° with all four linear polarizations. Can be used for measurements at ranges from 3 to 30 m. System has been used for measurements over artificially grown sea ice; results are presented from these experiments.
Notes:

Offprint: IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing. Vol. 28(4) :450-455.
