Calc-alkaline plutonism in the intra-oceanic Aleutian arc, Alaska / S. Mahlburg Kay, R.W. Kay, G.P. Citron, M.R. Perfit.

Title: Calc-alkaline plutonism in the intra-oceanic Aleutian arc, Alaska / S. Mahlburg Kay, R.W. Kay, G.P. Citron, M.R. Perfit.
Author(s): Kay, S. Mahlburg.
Kay, R. W.
Citron, G. P.
Perfit, M. R.
Date: 1990.
Publisher: Boulder, CO: Geological Society of America
Abstract: Reviews characteristics of dominant plutonic types in oceanic portion of Aleutian arc. On basis of mineralogical and chemical comparison with Aleutian volcanic rocks, suggests that calc-alkaline plutons represent subvolcanic magma chambers of terminal stages of calc-alkaline volcanoes.
