Abstract: Investigation began as attempt to verify measurements of ice water content made by using two-dimensional optical array probes with data from new airborne total water content probe. Latter probe was used during International Cirrus Experiment, and its performance is illustrated with data from project. Likely sources of error are identified and discussed.
