| Abstract: | Account of Project VEST SOKKEL ("West Shelf") and Phase I of it (in progress), which aims to evaluate area between 64° 20′ and 66° N and to attempt to obtain tie to pilot study area which lies between 63° and 63° 30′ N (published by Chalmers, 1989, in GGU. Rapport 142). Based on interpretation of seismic data. Concludes that present-day shelf is erosional. |
