| Abstract: | Records presence of buried closed depression within morainic till. Lower part is filled with sand derived from Saalian ice-sheet retreat, with complete, documented, organic series above, which is overlain by Vistulian deposits. Reconstruction of evolution of basin shows that initial development was connected with dead-ice block melting. |
