Abstract: Passage of snowmelt flood consists of maximum runoff (insignificant sediment transport), decreasing flood (maximum sediment transport with thermoerosion), and low summer runoff (secondary floods of marked geomorphic effect). Six river regimes are identified with respect to morphodynamic potential of snowmelt breakup period.
