| Abstract: | Presents results of helicopter-borne laser profiling of ice surfaces in Baltic Sea in March 1988, including distribution of height and spacing of ridges based on one-day large-scale measurement flight. 29 profiles of length 12 km were obtained. Average ridge height was 65-72 cm (maximum 198 cm). Number of ridges was 0.5 to 3.9 km⁻¹. Discussion, p. 358. |
