Presents results of study of long- and short-term phenomena in ice sheets caused by hydrometeorological conditions. Pays particular attention to devising methods of forecasting anomalies in ice conditions. Considers reliability of information on ice and examines ways of collecting and processing it. With references to Labrador, Okhotsk, East Siberian, Barents, Kara and White seas, also to ice on Yenisey and Ob' rivers. |
