Record #106265:

Simulation of microwave brightness temperatures of an evolving hailstorm at SSM/I frequencies / Alberto Mugnai, Harry J. Cooper, Eric A. Smith, Gregory J. Tripoli.

Title: Simulation of microwave brightness temperatures of an evolving hailstorm at SSM/I frequencies / Alberto Mugnai, Harry J. Cooper, Eric A. Smith, Gregory J. Tripoli.
Author(s): Mugnai, Alberto.
Cooper, Harry J.
Smith, Eric A.
Tripoli, Gregory J.
Date: 1990.
In: Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society. (1990.), Vol. 71(1) (1990)
Abstract: Three-dimensional Regional Atmospheric Modeling System (RAMS) was used to simulate intense hailstorm near Eldridge, AL, on 11 July 1986. Results describe where radiation originates and how ultimately it reaches satellite sensor and so helps precipitation retrieval algorithms.
Notes:

Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society. Vol. 71(1) :2-13 (1990).
