Record #105983:

Digital terrain models as a tool for glacier studies / Hermann Rentsch, Walter Welsch, Christian Heipke, Maynard M. Miller.

Title: Digital terrain models as a tool for glacier studies / Hermann Rentsch, Walter Welsch, Christian Heipke, Maynard M. Miller.
Author(s): Rentsch, Hermann.
Welsch, Walter.
Heipke, Christian.
Miller, Maynard M.
Date: 1990.
In: Journal of Glaciology. (1990.), Vol. 36(124) (1990)
Abstract: Combination of digital terrain models (DTM) with image-processing techniques enables better visualization of DTM and thus better interpretation of glaciological phenomena. Techniques have been applied to ice-fall of Vaughan Lewis Glacier, AK, with significant improvement of interpretation of glacier topography.
