| Abstract: | Results of field studies in 1989 show that moraine ridges covering north-west margin of Insel Range, Humboldt Mountains, contain relict ice from former ice-surface levels. Isotopic composition of this dead ice leads to conclusion that, during Late Quaternary, increases of ice volume here were linked with cold (sub-) stages exclusively. |
