Abstract: In order to assess influence of manure from Adélie (Pygosceles adeliae) and emperor (Aptenodytes forsteri) penguin rookeries, relationships between spatial distributions of seawater bacteria microflora and some related biological (chlorophyll pigments) and physicochemical (seston, NH₄⁺ and NO₃⁻) parameters studied during austral summer 1988 in region of Géologie Archipelago, Terre Adélie.
