Abstract: Field work carried out in 1989, focusing on area which lies below former maximum extent of lake. Project was initiated to develop preliminary database of till geochemistry and drift dispersal in order to evaluate local potential for drift prospecting. Till and glaciolacustrine sediments are dominant. Data on distribution of permafrost also obtained.
