| Abstract: | Fourteen colonies at Whitney Point, which had been censused between 1959/60 and 1961/62, censused again during late 1983. Of the 14 colonies, 13 extant and larger. Additional 15 colonies established ranging in size from 22 to 419 pairs. Total breeding population increased from 1,122 pairs in 1959/60 to approximately 4,199 pairs in 1983/84. |
